Literacy Centers LINKY PARTY!

Do you use centers in your classroom? I love finding new center ideas for my language arts program. Centers are so much fun! They get students engaged in their learning and allow them to get some one-on-one or small group instruction with their teacher! I love watching students work together and I especially love seeing how many of them think they are simply "playing" while we KNOW they are also "learning"! Hehe!

I've used many different kinds of centers this year and many of them are ideas that I found while blog stalking. Bloggers have such amazing ideas!
This is why I decided to give a Linky Party a try!
I'd love to see what everyone's favorite centers are!

I'll start! Here are 2 literacy centers that I created this year. They are available for FREE at my TPT store so feel free to pick them up!

This is a cute sight words game for Easter time! This game includes 33 sight words and blank cards to add your own. Students read the sight words and turn over the cards. The goal is to find the missing chick under the cards! 

Go Fish for Contractions is played just like the traditional "Go Fish" game. In this game, students ask for the opposite of a card that they already have. For example, if a student has "will not", he/she must ask for "won't". If no one has that card, the player must pick a card from the deck. The player with the most pairs at the end wins!This game includes a recording sheet and a sentence writing sheet.
